Social economy intelligence for corporate supply chains

Most companies already buy from social economy suppliers. They just don’t always know it.

telos skopia is our proprietary intelligence tool for identifying, verifying and reporting social economy activity within corporate supply chains. It brings together social economy data, supplier matching and impact reporting to help companies see what standard procurement systems often miss.

Built from more than 3.6 million supplier records across Europe, skopia combines official registers, recognised social economy datasets, legal-form indicators, country-specific terminology and supplier-level evidence. This enables telos to identify social economy suppliers across fragmented markets where definitions, labels and data sources vary significantly by country.

How it works

1. Social economy data
skopia brings together millions of records from official and recognised sources, including social enterprise registers, cooperative registers, charity and nonprofit datasets, legal-form indicators and specialist social economy sources.

2. Supplier matching
Corporate supplier files are matched against the skopia dataset using tax IDs, registration numbers, company names, legal forms and country-specific identifiers. Matches are reviewed and classified by confidence level, distinguishing verified suppliers, strong candidates and records requiring further validation.

3. Impact reporting
Once suppliers are identified, telos helps companies understand the scale and nature of their existing social economy spend. Reporting can include supplier counts, spend analysis, country and category breakdowns, social mission themes, confidence levels, and indicative impact estimates.

Why it matters

Europe’s social economy is large, diverse and difficult to navigate. Different countries use different legal forms, recognition systems and terminology, making it hard for corporate procurement teams to identify social economy suppliers consistently.

skopia turns fragmented data into practical insight. It helps companies baseline existing activity, validate suppliers, report responsibly and build a pipeline for future social procurement growth.

telos skopia helps companies find, verify and grow the social economy value already hidden in their supply chains.
